FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Net lending to individuals has increased in March at a rate below the six months average, same accounts for the net lending secured on dwellings and net consumer credit, according to data by the bank of England.

Net lending to individuals increased in March by 8.2 billion pound, down from 9.6 billion in February, the 12 month growth eased to 8.7%, from 8.9% in February. Net consumer credit rose by 1.2 billion pound in March, down from the 2.3 billion increase posted in February.

Loans for home purchases decreased by 64,000, down from 72,000 in February, reaching a total amount of 9.3 billion pound in March, from 10.4 billion in February.
