The United Kingdom released the retail sales index for November, where the monthly index dropped by 0.4% from the revised previous expansion of 1.0% from 0.6%, worse than expectations of 0.3% drop. In addition, the annual index slowed to 0.7% from the revised previous of 1.1% from 0.9%, better than expectations of 0.4%.

The retail sales excluding auto fuel monthly index dropped by 0.7% from the revised previous expansion of 0.9% from 0.6%, worse than expectations of 0.4% drop. Furthermore, the annual index slowed to 0.5% from the revised previous of 1.1% from 0.9%, better than expectations of 0.3% drop.
