FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - British services activity has expanded in January at practically the same pace than during the previous week, and at a somewhat faster pace than expected, according to the latest services PMI data released by CIPS, the Chartered institute of purchasing and Supply.

Services PMI has inched up to 52.5 level in January from 52.4 in December, in a scale showing expansion in levels over 50, and contraction otherwise. January's reading has come out somewhat better than the 52.0 preliminary estimation.
