FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Business activity in the UK services sector has declined in January, although at a slightly slower rate than in the previous month, according to the latest non-manufacturing PMI.

Services PMI has increased to 42.5 in January from 40.2 in December, against experts' expectations of a reading about 40.3. UK services activity has remained below 50, which is the line between expansion an contraction of the sectors' activity, since April last year.
