UK Trade Shortfall Narrows in June

UK visible trade showed a narrowed deficit to 7401 billion pounds in June compared with the prior deficit of 8062 billion pounds which was revised to 8028 billion pounds deficit, while analysts expected the deficit to narrow to 7800 billion pounds.

Tradedeficit non EU also narrowed to 4262 billion pounds from the revised 4492 billion pounds which was 4487 billion pounds, yet it economists predicted the deficit to decline to 4250 billion pounds.

Total trade deficit shrank to 3260 billion pounds from the May's deficit of 3817 billion pounds revised down to 3818 billion pounds deficit, which is better than forecasts of 3650 billion pounds deficit.
