The United Kingdom released the trade balance for August, where the total trade deficit narrowed to 1.877 billion pounds from the previous deficit of 4.45 billion pounds that was revised to 4.651 billion, and better than the expected deficit of 4.250 billion pounds.

Moreover, the visible trade deficit narrowed to 7.768 billion pounds from the previous deficit of 8.922 billion pounds which was revised to 8.154 billion, better than the expected deficit of 8.8 billion pound.

Furthermore, the trade balance non EU deficit also shrank to 4.867 billion pounds from the prior deficit of 5.505 billion pound that was revised to 2.273 billion, better than the expected deficit of 5.35 billion pound.
