FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Uk's deficit on good and services with the rest of the world has widened in September to 5.1 billion pound from 4.2 billion in August, which has been upwardly revised from the 4.1billion previously estimated, according to data by National Statistics.

On the quarter, deficit on goods and services has increased to 14.0 billion pound from the 11.5 billion pound deficit reported on the previous quarter.

Trade in goods deficit has widened to 7.8 billion pound from 6.9 billion pound in August, while trade in services posted a 2.7 billion pound surplus, unchanged from the previous month.

Total exports have declined one per cent to 18.9 billion pound while total imports of goods rose two and a half per cent to 26.6 billion pound.
