The United Kingdom released the trade balance figures for September, where the total trade deficit widened to 3.940 billions pounds from the revised previous of 2.726 billions from 1.877 billion pounds, worse than the expected 2.100 billion pound deficit.

Moreover, the non-European Union trade deficit also widened to 5.715 billion pounds from the revised prior of 5.142 billions from 4.869 billion pounds, worse than the expected 4.950 billion pound deficit.
