The United Kingdom released the trade balance figures for February, where the visible trade deficit unexpectedly widened to 8772 million pound from the revised previous of 7883 million from 7532 million, worse than expectations of 7650 million pound.

Moreover, the non EU trade deficit also widened unexpectedly to 5017 million pound from the revised prior of 3717 million pound from 3678 milliom, more than the expected deficit of 3825 million pound.

Accordingly, the total trade deficit widened also beyond expectations to 3396 million pound from the revised previous of 2501 million from 1762 million, missing estimates of 2000 million pound of deficit.
