U.K. reported lackluster trade figures on Wednesday as seemingly the economy can not rely on trade and exports to salvage growth as the deficit continues to widen.
The visible trade deficit in March widened to 7660 million pounds from a revised 6988 million from 6776 million; the deficit was even wider than the expected 7500 million pounds.
The Non EU trade deficit also expanded to 4479 billion pounds from a revised 2766 million from 2849 million pounds and was also worse than the expected 3500 million pounds.
The total trade deficit also widened to 3005 million from a revised 2655 million deficit from 2443 million pounds. The deficit though in March was better than the expected 3250 million pounds deficit.
