FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - United Kingdom's deficit in goods and services trade with the rest of the world has narrowed in October to 4.1 billion euro from downwardly revised 4.8 billion deficit posted in September, according to data by National Statistics.
In the three months to October, the trade deficit has widened to 13.1 billion from 11.9 billion pound in the previous three months.
The trade balance in goods with the rest of the world has thrown a 7.1 billion pound deficit, from the 8.0 billion pound deficit posted in September. October's gap on goods trade has been partially offset by a 3.0 billion pound surplus in services trade. Goods trade deficit with EU countries has narrowed t0 2.7 billion pound deficit from -3.3 billion in September.
