FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - UK's trade on goods and services with the rest of the world has decreased slightly in August, while the three-month reading has widened mildly, according to data by National Statistics.

August's provisionally estimated deficit in goods and services trade has decreased to 4.1 billion ponds from the 4.6 billion pounds deficit reached in July, which has been upwardly revised from the initial 4.4 billion euro.

In the three months to august, the trade deficit widened to 12.3 billion from 122 billion pound deficit on the previous month.

Trade in goods has improved, and its deficit has fallen to 6.9 billion pounds from the 7.1 billion posted in July, while UK has posted a 2.7 billion pound surplus in services' trade, down from the2.8 billion reached in August.
