The United Kingdom released the visible trade balance for July, reflecting a widened deficit to 8,922 million pounds from a previous deficit of 8,873 billion pound, worse than the expected deficit of 8,500 million pound.

Moreover, the non European Union trade balance deficit narrowed in July to 5,505 billion pound from the previous deficit of 5,718 billions, worse than the expected estimate of 5,450 million pound.
