UK's visible trade deficit widened to 8873 million pounds in June from 8478 million pounds which was revised to 8467 million pounds, while analysts expected the deficit to narrow to 8100 million pounds.

The Trade balance non EU deficit also widened to 5718 million pounds from the revised 5053 million pounds from 5109 million pounds deficit, yet economists predicted the deficit would decline to 4800 million pounds.

The total trade deficit widened to 4496 million pounds from May's deficit of 4060 million pounds after it was revised lower to 4049 million pounds, which is worse than forecasts of 3600 million pounds deficit.
