After the success of the Ulefone Be Touch 2 that was mimic the appearance of the iPhone 6 Plus, the Chinese manufacturer has announced its successor called the Ulefone Be Touch 3. The handset was announced earlier this month and it is now up on preorders at Gear Best for $199.

According to Mobi Picker, the Ulefone Be Touch 3 resembles its predecessor in aspects like design, placement of Home button, metallic frame and 2.5D curved glass. The Ulefone Be Touch 3 comes with a 5.5-inch IPS LTPS display that is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It delivers a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Below the display of the device is the physical Home button that houses a uTouch fingerprint scanner like the Be Touch 2 handset. The handset is powered by MediaTek MTK6753 chipset that features an octa-core processor along with Mali T720 MP graphics. The CPU is known to reach a max processing speed of 1.3 GHz along with 3 GB of RAM.

The native storage available on the Ulefone Be Touch 3 is 16 GB. The expandable storage slot of the device supports up to 64 GB of microSD card. It comes preinstalled with Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The rear camera of the Be Touch 3 is of 13-megapixel. It comes equipped with a single LED flash. The front side features a 5-megapixel camera. It is a dual-SIM handset that comes with multiple connectivity features like LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.

The Ulefone Be Touch 3 features a 2,550 mAh battery from Sony that can produce a standby time of up to 298 hours. Gear Best has listed the Ulefone Be Touch 3 in two colors namely, Metal Grey and Silk White. The handset is available with a price tag of $199. The last date to preorder the handset is Dec. 4.
