Alicia Silverstone
In 2011, “Clueless” actress Alicia Silverstone and husband Christopher Jarecki named their newborn son Bear Blu. Later that year Silverstone told US Weekly that the “super cute” name was her husband’s idea.
"We had narrowed our list to five boy names, and then we couldn't really decide," the actress said. "He suggested Bear or Blu, and I loved them both."

In 2008 Ashlee Simpson and then-husband Fall Out Boy guitarist Pete Wentz named their baby boy Bronx Mowgli.
In 2008 Wentz told Ryan Seacrest that the name Mowgli came from he and Simpson’s shared love of “The Jungle Book.”
He gave less details about why they chose to name their son after a New York City borough.
"We came up with the idea Bronx. We've been throwing [ideas] back and forth a while," he says. "It's kind of cool to just leave the narrative what it is. People are stoked or pissed or whatever. And you're like, you know what: I don't think anyone really has the real story."

The 2012 birth of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter was one of the most widely reported on celeb births in recent years and fact that the couple chose to name their child Blue Ivy caused quite a stir. The significance of the name Blue is still unclear but US Weekly suspects that Ivy could refer to the Roman numeral IV for four, which is reportedly a significant number for the pair. Beyoncé was born on Sept. 4 while Jay-Z’s was born on Dec. 4. The two wed on April 4, 2008 while the singer’s last album was called “4.”

Uma Thurman, who welcomed a daughter with French financier Arpad Busson on July 15, has finally announced the baby’s name.
