The Jobs in New Zealand retreated by 0.2% during January compared with December last year, which witnessed a slight increase in the number of jobs, yet the yearly reading rose by 1.3%.

On the other hand, the unemployment rates in New Zealand has stabilized at 6.3% during the fourth quarter of 2011, falling from 6.6% during the previous quarter, as statistics showed that by the end of last year there were about 150 thousand people in New Zealand without a job and about 2.2 million people have been employed.
