The Spanish economy is deteriorating more and more especially its labor sector which getting weak day by day, as the unemployment rose to the highest in 15 years to reach 22.9% in the fourth quarter which is a very high level, where the economy itself is expected to contract by 1.5% this year.

The Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy is pressured now after promising the people to solve the unemployment problem and take measures to assure more people will be employed, however, the Eurostat figures show that more than two thirds of the jobs lost in the euro region since 2008 were in Spain.

The unemployment rose further to reach in the fourth quarter 22.9% from 21.5% in the previous quarter, where the expectations signaled that unemployment may reach 22.2%.
