The University of Michigan released the Final estimate for consumer confidence for the month of July, where consumer confidence eased faintly to 63.7 from prior estimate of 63.8 and below median estimates of 64.0.

The economic conditions index retreated to 75.8 from 76.3 reported in July, while the economic outlook index advanced to 56.0 in June from 55.8 in July.

The 1-Year inflation expectations index picked up to 3.5%, compared with 3.4% in July, while the 5-Year inflation expectations index inclined to 2.9% from 2.8%.
