The University of Michigan released the final estimate for consumer confidence for the month of October, where consumer confidence climbed to 60.9, compared with the prior estimate of 57.5 and worse than median estimates of 72.0

The economic conditions index advanced to 75.1 from 73.8, while the economic outlook index inclined to 51.8 from 47.0 in October.

The 1-Year inflation expectations index stagnated, while the 5-Year inflation expectations index remained intact at 2.7%.
