The University of Michigan released the final estimate for consumer confidence for the month of September, where consumer confidence rose to 59.4, topping the prior and the forecasted estimates of 57.8, where the economic conditions index picked up to 74.9 from 74.5, while the economic outlook index rose to 49.4 from 47.0.

The 1-year inflation expectations index rose by 3.3 percent compared to the prior climb worth 3.7 percent, while the 5-year inflation expectations index eased fainlty to 2.9 percent from 3.0 percent.
