UnREAL
Rachel (Shiri Appleby) and Adam's (Freddie Stroma) storyline might not be over in Season 2. Lifetime

Brace yourselves, ladies and gents. Season 2 of Lifetime’s breakout hit, “UnREAL,” is gearing up to premiere this summer and you definitely won’t want to miss the drama that’s lined up.

While an actual premiere date for Season 2 has yet to be announced, the good folks behind “UnREAL” have no problem teasing what’s in store for fans – and that involves PLENTY of crazies and the potential return of a familiar face, Adam.

“There might be one really handsome guy. He might have an accent,” executive producer Sarah Gertrude Shapiro told E! Online of the Season 2 cast. “That obviously left on a pretty unresolved note for Rachel.”

For those that don’t remember Season 1 left off with a major headache for the producers of “Everlasting.” The show’s bachelor, Adam (Freddie Stroma), managed to dig himself into a hole he couldn’t get out of when he accidentally told his bride-to-be, Anna (Johanna Braddy) that he slept with Rachel (Shiri Appleby). Of course, that was all part of Rachel’s plan. She got revenge on Adam for him breaking things off with her by embarrassing him on live TV when Anna played the role of runaway bride. But for Quinn (Constance Zimmer), the most important thing was ruining Chet’s (Craig Bierko) “Everlasting” wedding.

The finale ended with Rachel and Quinn on a good note, but everything else up in the air. And while the Rachel and Adam plotline is something that fans want to see continued, there is no denying that the jaw dropping drama on “Everlasting” is equally addicting.

“We have an African-American suitor, so [Quinn and Rachel] make sure that they have a Southern apologist girl, who believes that the Confederate flag is really about states’ rights,” Shapiro dished to Entertainment Weekly. “There’s a Black Lives Matter activist, who doesn’t really want to be on the show. They get a Jew-y hipster girl from Brooklyn who’s maybe a blogger. We have a sportscaster – she actually is the daughter of a guy who owns the NFL franchise, so we just have a stack [ready] to totally explode.”

“UnREAL” Season 2 will premiere on Lifetime this summer.
