“UnREAL” Season 3 is just a few days away, and it looks like Quinn is going to have a difficult time running “Everlasting.” This time around she will find herself in the middle of her own dating competition thanks to the addition of a new cast member, whose character will come between her and Chet.

Last season Quinn (Constance Zimmer) witnessed true love on camera as the “Everlasting” suitor found someone he actually cared for. However, it made her realize she didn’t have love in her own life.

As she wallowed in self-pity, Chet (Craig Bierko), who she came close to marrying, comforted her and attempted to give her hope all wasn’t lost. However, when the gang returns for another season of the reality series, it becomes clear Chet believes Quinn will find love--it just won’t be with him.

Australian actress Kassandra Clementi has been tapped to join “UnREAL” Season 3 as Chet’s love interest, Crystal. During an interview with InStyle, the actress teased how her character’s presence will affect Quinn and Chet’s relationship.

“She comes in as Chet’s girlfriend and she’s quite a bit younger than Chet, so she’s been dubbed his ‘mid life crisis’ choice of girlfriend. Obviously, there’s a lot of history between Chet and Quinn, so for him to be bringing in a new girlfriend who is quite naïve, and quite a lot younger than Quinn, stirred some drama,” she explained.

While Crystal will cause some controversy with Quinn on screen, off screen, Clementi praised the female cast on the Lifetime series. “[It was] a very powerful set of very intelligent, strong and creative women... and men as well! The two creators of the show are these powerhouse women, Marti Noxon and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro.”

“Sarah actually directed an episode, too, and Shiri Appleby (Rachel Goldberg) and Constance Zimmer (Quinn King) also directed episodes. It was all around a very empowering set,” she added.

According to Clementi’s IMDb page, she will appear in the first five episodes of the new season which will give her character plenty of run-ins with Quinn that could make or break her relationship with Chet.

“UnReal” Season 3 premieres Monday at 10 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
