According to the latest reports, jailbroken A5 devices have been introduced to Cydia version 1.1.4 changelog that, like almost all other versions of Cydia, ensures extraordinary stability and speed, compared to the previous version. Although this version is not available as an automatic upgrade, here is a tutorial on how to install it on devices that do not have the A5 chip.

Here are the steps you need to follow:

Step 1: After downloading the .deb file (provided below), you will be faced with a screen that says Open in iFile. Click on it.

Step 2: Next, click on installer to install Cydia.

Step 3: Next, you will be shown a screen that shows the status of the program executing the command and reading your database.

Step 4: Once the installation is complete, just reboot your iPhone to successfully complete the process.

Although the process is a simple one, it is important you install this latest version of Cydia to make the device compatible with any future jailbreaks.
