Wireless carrier AT&T and navigation device maker Garmin said the G60 nuvifone will be available beginning Oct. 4 to AT&T customers in the U.S. at AT&T stores and online from the carrier's website.

The nuvifone G60 will be sold for $299 with a two-year service agreement after a $100 mail-in-rebate, the companies said in a statement. G60, built in partnership with Taiwanese PC maker Asustek (2357.TW), runs on a Linux-based operating system.
