U.S. agency assumes Lehman pension plan for 22,000 workers

The U.S. Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation on Friday it assumed the pension plan for 22,000 former Lehman Brothers Holding workers and retirees:

* US pension agency says Lehman plan had $115 million shortfall, but now higher

* US pension agency says maximum guaranteed amount for Lehman pension is $51,750 per worker

* Bankruptcy court had approved settlement between agency and Lehman for $127.6 million plus interest
