FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Construction spending has decreased 1.1% in March from February to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $1.124 trillion, instead of the 0.7% decline forecasted by the experts, according to data released by the US Commerce Department.

Spending for the month of February has been revised up to a 0.4% increase from the previously estimated 0,3% decline. In March, residential construction fell 4.6%, and 19.7% from March 2007.
