The U.S Department of Commerce released the Consumer Price Indices for the month of December, where CPI stood unchanged showing a flat reading in the last month and below median estimates of 0.1 percent, while CPI fell to 3.0 percent as forecasted from 3.4 percent in the year ended December.

Core CPI, which excludes volatile items such as food and energy, fell to 0.1 percent from 0.2 percent in December but matching economists' average estimates, while compred with a year earlier, Core CPI steadied at 2.2 percent and line with market forecast as well.
