Against its Brazilian counterpart, the dollar traded lower during New York deals on Wednesday. At about 2:15 pm ET, the pair touched 2.2790, which may be compared to yesterday's closing value of 2.3215. This set a 5-day low for the US currency. Currently, the pair is trading at 2.2795. On the downside, the US currency may likely target the 2.2353 level against the real.
