Extending Wednesday's downtrend, the US currency dropped further against the Kenyan shilling and touched a new multi-week low of 79.7000 at about 3:55 am ET Thursday. Thereafter, the dollar-shilling pair reversed its direction and hit a high of 80.1300 within one hour. At present, the pair is trading at 79.87, compared to yesterday's close of 79.9000.
