Against the Kenyan shilling, the US dollar edged up in New York trading on Tuesday. The greenback surged to 1-week high of 80.7500 at about 7:20 am ET from yesterday's North American close of 79.9500. Presently, the dollar-shilling pair is worth 80.65. If the US currency climbs further, it may find near term resistance around the 80.807 level.
