US released its first quarter preliminary reading of it Annualized GDP to come in around 3.0%; worse than the forecasted growth expansion of 3.4% and the prior expansion of 3.2%, while GDP Price Index for the same period rose to 1.0%, which is better than the expected and prior readings of 0.9%.

As for the first quarter preliminary reading of the personal consumption, it plummeted to 3.5%; worse than the forecasted 3.8% and the prior reading of 3.6%, whereas the first quarter preliminary reading of the Core PCE stayed unchanged at 0.6% as already predicted by the market.
