FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - House prices continued declining at United States and declines steepened in April, with prices showing declines in every region, according to the Standard and Poor's Housing Prices Index.

The SP 20 cities housing prices index has declined 15.3% year on year in April, while month on month, the 20 cities index declined 1.4% from March. The 10 cities index has posted a 16.3% decline from a year earlier, and a 1.4% decline from March.

Nevertheless, three of the areas studied, while still showing declines year on year, have shown considerable improvements compared to last year, and eight of the 20 areas studied have shown price increases month on month.
