The U.S housing starts dropped by 0.3 percent to an adjusted annual rate of 628 thousand in October, after rising a revised 7.7 percent to 630 thousand in September and better than forecasted drop worth 7.3 percent to 610 thousand.

While the U.S building permits rose 10.9 percent to an annual rate of 653 thousand in October, up from the prior revised drop of 5.8 percent to an annual rate of 589 thousand and also better than median estimates of 2.4 percent to 603 thousand.
