US released its Initial Jobless Claims for September 12 showing an unexpected decline as it came in at 545 thousand; better than the forecasted reading of 555 thousand and the prior revised reading of 557 thousand from 550 thousand, while the Continuing Claims for September 5 rose to 6230 thousand, which is of course worse than the expected reading of 6100 thousand and the prior revised reading of 6101 thousand from 6088 thousand.
