FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Initial jobless claims rose to the level of 337,000 persons in the week ending October 13th, according to the latest report by the U.S. Department of Labor.

October 6 data was upwardly revised to the level of 309,000 persons from the 308,000 originally posted. Market expectations were a smaller increase to the level of 312,000 persons in the last week.

Four week moving average posted an increase to the level of 316,500 persons from the upwardly revised 310,500 level registered previous week.
