FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Manufacturing activity continued expanding in the United States during the month of October for the ninth consecutive month, although at the slowest pace since last March, with new orders and prices paid increasing and production index falling into contraction for the first time since January.

US ISM manufacturing index has decreased to 50.9 in October from 52.0 in September. The New orders index has decreased to 52.5 in October from 53.4 in September, and the Production index falling to 49.6 from 54.6 in September.

The pries index has jumped to 63 from 59.0 in October.
