The U.S. released the initial jobless claims for the week ending September 17, where jobless claims fell to 423,000 from the prior revised estimate of 432,000, but worse than median estimates of 420,000, while continuing claims for the week ending September 10, fell to 3.727 million, from the prior revised estimate of 3.755 million, and also worse than median estimates of 3.722 million.
