FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - Wall Street is moving higher on Monday, following gains in Europe. The Dow Jones is rising 1.11% and the Nasdaq is up 1.04% so far. Commodities are also higher, crude oil is holding above $70 a barrel and gold jumped to $1,018 a/oz. The Dollar is falling across the board, at a moderate pace.
EUR/USD is testing intra-day high at 1.4670. The rise in stocks boosted the Euro that is consolidating above 1.4600. GBP/USD is moving in ranges between 1.5900 and 1.5960. Cable extended losses across the board during the American session. USD/CHF is falling at a moderate pace and is getting closer to 1.0300. Against the Yen, Dollar slid further to 89.38. USD/JPY then pulled back but found resistance at 89.50.
Greenback is falling further against currencies tied to commodities. AUD/USD is testing 0.8800 while NZD/USD rose to 0.7314, posting a fresh 14-month high.
Earlier in the day, the ISM non-manufacturing index rose above 50.0 for the first time in a year.
