FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Economic sentiment would decline in October, according to preliminary estimations by University of Michigan.

Sentiment index fell to the level of 82.0 points in October from the 83.4 points registered in September. Market analysts were expecting an increase to the level of 84.0 points.

Current situation index rose to the level of 98.2 points in October from the 97.9 reading posted last month. Expectations index registered a sharp decline to the level of 71.6 points after posting 74.1 points in September.
