FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - US net foreign purchases of long term securities have increased to $115.1 billion in April from revised $79.6 billion in March, according to the US Treasury Department.

Net foreign purchases of US securities increased to $104.8 billion in April, from 78.6 billion in March, from which $63.5 billion were purchased by foreign investor, and $ 41.3 billion by foreign official institutions.

US residents sold $10.3 billion of long term foreign securities.
