The US released its New Home Sales for September showing a gloomy unexpected coming in at 402 thousand; worse than the forecasted reading of 440 thousand and the prior revised reading of 417 thousand from 429 thousand, while percentage wise it plummeted to -3.6%, which is worse than the expected reading of 2.6% and the prior revised reading of 1.0% from 0.7%.

In fact, the total sales are continuously dropping as they came at 402 thousand in September from 471 thousand in August, 143 thousand in July and from 399 thousand in June, whereas the median prices are quite steady as they came in at $204.800 in September from $199.900 in August and $215.600 in July.
