FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Productivity has increased slightly faster in the fourth quarter than previously estimated, unit labor costs have also been revised up, according to the latest data released by the US commerce Department.

Non-farm productivity has been revised up to a 1.9% increaser, from the 1.8% increase estimated previously, while unit labor costs have been revised to a 26% increase from the 2.1% rise previously released.

Productivity has registered a sharp slowdown from the 6.3% increase posted in the third period, while the 2.7% increase on unit labor costs follows a 2.7% decline in the previous quarter.
