FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Activity in the US non-manufacturing sector has fallen into contraction figures in January for the first time in the last 58 months, accoding to data released by the Istitute for Supply Management.

Non-manufacturing ISM business index has decreased to 44.6 in January from 53.9 in December, well into contraction for the first time since March 2003.
