FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Pending home sales have posted the second increase in a row in October, and a higher one than the one posted in September, which could be considered as good news for the US housing sector, as the pending home sales are considered a former looking indicator of home sales.

According the National Association of Realtors, the index for pending homes sales has grown 0.6% in October from September, after a 0.2% increase on the previous month. On the year, pending home sales have decreased 18.4%.

The National Association of Realtors has also forecasted house prices to decrease in 2007 and rise weakly in 2008.
