The U.S economy released its Retail Sales Report for the month of December coming in worse than markets. The index rose on the monthly scale by 0.6%, this is compared with the previous reported estimate and the expected 0.8 percent, while the retail sales less auto rose by 0.5%, compared with the previous revised 1.0 and the expected 0.7%, finally sales excluding autos and gas prices rose by 0.4% compared with the previous revised 0.6% while in line with market expectations.
