FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - House prices continued its fast depreciation in November, according to the Standard & Poor's Case-Shiller House Prices Index.

Average home prices in the 20 major city areas in the United States have declined 2.2% from October to November, the same decline as in the previous month. Year on year, the decline on home prices has accelerated slightly to a 18.2% fall, from the 18.0% yearly decline posted in October.

November's decline in prices has been broad-based among cities, with 11 of the 20 major metropolitan areas posting record declines, and 14 of them posting year of year declines above 10%.
