FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - Wall Street opened in the positive side on Tuesday after the release of hosing data and consumer confidence. The Dow Jones is rising 0.26% and the S&P is up 0.13%. Gold fell momentarily below $1,100 an ounce. Dollar is recovering after falling during the Asian session.
Markets are rising worldwide and also crude oil which trades barely below $79. Gold is the exception and is falling.
EUR/USD holds above 1.4400 but has moved away from the highs of the day that lie at 1.4457. GBP/USD is testing levels below support at 1.5980 and recently has fallen to fresh intra-day low. USD/JPY continues to trade near 91.80. Currencies tied to commodities are consolidating gains against the Dollar.
