The US final reading of its University of Michigan Confidence for this month rose cheerfully to 74.4; better than the forecasted reading of 73.0 and the preliminary reading of 72.8, knowing that this month final reading of the economic conditions climbed to the upside as well to 81.1 from 81.0 and the economic outlook rose to 70.1 from a preliminary reading of 67.5.

Furthermore, this month final reading of the inflation expectations for one year ahead are unchanged at 2.8% from 2.5% in December, while for the five year ahead, it climbed up to 2.9% from a preliminary reading of 2.8%.
