FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Total inventories of wholesalers, excluding manufacturer's sales branches and offices, rose by 0,6% in seasonally adjusted terms to the level of $406.2 billion dollars from the and rose by 4,3% compared with the same period one year ago, according to the latest report by US Census Bureau.
The market consensus was a slightly lower increase by 0.4% in November. October's inventories was upwarly revised to the level of 403.78 billion dollars from the 403.68 billion dollars originally posted.
Wholesaler's sales, excluding manufacturers' sales branches and offices, rose by 2,2% in November to the level of $380,4 billion dollars, and were up by 2.2% compared with November 2006. October's data was upwardly revised to the level of 372,212 billion dollars.
